15th Anniversary Update

Pixelogic 1.0 released to the App Store on June 7th, 2009, 15 years ago to the day!

At the time, my girlfriend (now wife) was hooked on a nonogram/picross style puzzle flash game, though there were no great versions of this for our newly purchased iPhone 3Gs. I set out to create an version of this game for the iPhone, creating a unique zoom system to make playing large puzzles possible on the small iPhone 3G screen. I was fortunate that after Pixelogic launched, the game steadily grew a following, many of whom have stuck with the game for the majority of these last 15 years. Pixelogic now has over 6,000 past daily and weekly puzzles. It’s hard to believe.

To celebrate the occasion, a new update (v5.7) is available with some fun new features:

New Puzzle Pack: "Celebrating 15 Years"

To celebrate Pixelogic's launch way back in June 2009, I've curated a special puzzle pack featuring one daily puzzle from each year since we launched. This "Celebrating 15 Years" pack is completely free and honors some of the top puzzle creators from our awesome community.

Classic Theme

Pixelogic has changed a lot over the years, including the most recent v5 redesign. For those who miss the old v4 design, I added a "Classic" theme in the "Theme & Color" section of settings.

Classic App Icons

As an added bonus, you can now change the Pixelogic app icon to one of the many classic icons from previous releases. Which one are you most nostalgic for?
